1976 - 1977 Consulting Engineer, Design Analytics Inc. Consulting engineer services to industrial lighting company. Work involved the application of heat transfer finite element models to obtain improved passive heat control design in high-power, high-intensity lighting fixtures. Use of finite element models in the design and analysis of large LNG tanks for oceangoing tankers.
1975 - 1976 Manager of Structural Dynamics, Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. Installed the FEER method of eigenvalue extraction into NASTRAN under contract to the NASTRAN Systems Management Office, NASA/Langley Research Center.
1971 - 1975 Israel Aircraft Industries Ltd., Lod, Israel, Chief of Structural Methods Department, responsible for the development and application of finite element computer programs for the static and dynamic analysis of aerospace structures.

TEACHING & RESEARCH
1995 Adjunct Full Professor, The Cooper Union. Teaching course in Accident Reconstruction and Safety Engineering. Invited Guest Lecturer at University of California - Davis; Seminar on Protective Helmet Technology and Safety.
1973-75 Full Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Chairman of Mechanical Engineering Curriculum Committee, Tel Aviv University, School of Engineering. Performed research on nonlinear contact problems, composite and fibrous materials and rate-dependent plasticity using finite element methods. Served as consultant to Kleber Tire Company of France in the areas of tire design/analysis.
1970-71 Lecturer in Engineering Sciences Department, Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY. Taught courses in numerical methods for digital computers.
1963-66 Associate Research Scientist, Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. Performed basic research on buckling mechanisms for thin shells. Adjunct Associate Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics, New York University.
1952-53 Full time lecturer in Civil Engineering at City College of New York. Taught courses in fluid mechanics, strength of materials and indeterminate structures.
